As a list owner of several embroidery lists I can certainly understand the
frustration Heidi is experiencing but I do have one thing to mention. If it
were not for all the talented digitizers who create beautiful designs and
are very generous in offering free designs would this wonderful hobby be as
enjoyable? I know the ads are tiring but the digitizers need to get the
word out. No one gets rich selling designs. It is something many of us do
because we have a passion for creating.

I for one try very hard to help others with any embroidery related
questions. I think digitizers who advertise should participate and be
helpful. It is a nice thing to do in exchange for the ads that are allowed.
On my list I require an embroidery related tip to be posted with any AD. I
have had some digitizers protest and complain but I think it is a nice way
to teach others about embroidery. The more you know and the more successful
you are in your embroidery the more you will want to do it and that may mean
more design sales for digitizers. Just my 2 cents worth.

Please don't panic already and understand I haven't made up my mind to close
the list already LOL

I can say one good thing has already come out of it, I usually have a TON of
emails that I have to moderate and delete (I have no moderator, it is just
little ole me) and I haven't had anyone try to post an ad today since I
posted this!
