I use a tear away for backing towels. Most towel fabric is very stable and
does not require a cut away. I do use a cut away however if the design has
larger fill areas. A Wash Away type backing is nice too. Some of the
fibers will stay entangled in the threads to keep the design looking nice
but the excess Wash Away will disappear in the wash.
