Judi, I pinned the layers together and ditch stitched using a walking foot to outline the tree and in the borders with monofilament, then dropped the feed dogs, changed to a hopping foot and outlined the embroidery (Bernina 830). Then I loaded it on my frame/Juki set up and free motioned the rest.
