first off.
not asking to do this school based project.
just looking for some advice, re-colours, positioning of some controls.
okay.
the major project i am doing, is a website for a contact call centre.
the site will have a navigation bar with links at the top.
a footer bar at the bottom.
you will have three forms.
one to enter a login.
standard login, user id, user name, e-mail, date accessed.
then a submit button.
have got php and my sql examples, from my last project to look at.
have not looked at this for a while.
so have done all the documentation.
and got it signed of from my lecturer.
so have done the following:
1. a client brief report.
2. a scope report.
3. a database design report.
4. a website navigation report.
5. a testing report.
6. a database designed in wamp server.
have got tables, and some dummy data for example.
now.
i will check for a blank field.
but also will check for invalid characters.
then will have a page, if successfull.
then a message, and a logout link.
if errors, then a back button, and displaying what the error was.
when they click back, it will then have focus on the field where the
error is.
okay.
then the second form, is to add contact details.
like contact id, name, address, town, etc.
then a submit button.
so.
if successfull.
then will show a list of users.
should each entry, be a heading, and have a table with headings like
contact id, name, etc.
for each entry.
then where to place say links for each entry?
or should they be buttons?
like add, edit, delete, update.
the third form, is to enter event information, like event id, notes,
date entered, time entered.
so, similar layout if the entry is successful, and does not have errors.
will vallidate for this.
now.
what colours should i use for the site.
background, foreground.
and for individual elements as well?
and what fonts should i use.
for world best practice.
just need some feedback.
not to do it for me.
i will do it my self.
and also will use google, if i cannot find the answers, and get stuck.
even when i use the code from my last project, for reference.
so.
any of you website gurus out there.
would appreciate your feedback and knowledge.
did ask my lecturer, but he is too busy, and have a whole lot of other
students.
i am the only blind student.
so.
have got this far.
a lot of hard work, a lot of reading, testing, debugging, pulling out
hair! grin! smile!
