Ok this week a tragedy has struck at my house. Apparently (Last) Monday
night or Tuesday morning someone gained access to our backyard for unknown
reasons since nothing is missing and when they left the gate was left open.
Tuesday when we let our two little dogs out to potty they didn't come back
to the door. We went looking around and that was when we found the gate open
We drove around the neighborhood but didn't find any trace of them. A few
hours later we left to go to the grocery store. When we got back one of the
dogs was in the front yard. So one dog still has not been found. We have had
him for over 10 years now. We got him from the SPCA when he was 1 year old.
He is up in age, getting to be stubborn and his hearing is going. This
unfortunately occurred when Texas got 30-40 degree temps and rain with some
pea size hail in our area. I hope nothing tragic has occurred, we live close
to a park that has appearances of coyotes every so often. Since this
happened I have swapped which design to advertise this week.
Doggie Valentine will be what this week is about and I keep praying that our
little "Bandit" is found soon. (I am keeping tabs on the shelter just in
case, Bandit is a Chihuahua/terrier mix.)

UPDATE: Tuesday Bandit will have been missing for a full week. We still have
not found out anything. We are using all options possible to get him back
but I fear the coyotes down by the park may have gotten him. They have taken
a few cats in the neighborhood. (All our cats are indoor cats.) Its just
sad that we have had him for over 10 years and this is the first dog we have
ever "Lost". Most of our dogs throughout the years have always lived to a
good ripe old age, or fallen ill with certain action that had to be taken or
even relocated to another loving home. I guess the not knowing is what is
upsetting and the possibility that something bad like the coyotes could have
happened. Thank you all for your concerns, it is truly appreciated.
