Hello Rene',
What a great husband you have to get you a great new machine. I am so glad that you are enjoying sewing and embroidery. I have sewn for a long time. I bought the embroidery machine about 5 yrs ago. I was just beginning to learn to use it and moved across country from the Detroit area to Oregon 4 years ago. My stuff was in storage for about 18 months, and I am just now getting everything organized in the sewing room. Working 12 hour nights until last March didn't help. I had to re-familiarize myself with the machine all over again this weekend. I see wonderful projects and think "I have a machine that can do that..." I too, am looking forward to doing some nice projects. You will have so much fun doing baby things! Nice to see you here.

> Hello all! I look forward to being a member of your group. As I am relatively new to sewing and embroidery. I started teaching myself how to sew when I found out I was to become a grandmother and was asked to make a "homemade" quilt. My husband seen how much I enjoyed doing that on my little $99 Sears sewing machine that he bought me a Brother NV2800D sewing/embroidery combo - it changed everything for me. I have started becoming a material hoarder and find it hard to cut the material up once I get it as the prints are so pretty to look at on my shelves. Looking at all the projects that others have made gives me the inspiration to keep learning and developing my skills. Thanks in advance for that!
