[Finding_Designs] New Free Design and Best Project Contest

This week, we're beginning to accept entries to our annual Best Project
Contest, now in its 9th year. Anybody can enter for a chance to win up
to $500 worth of our designs! See our Best Project Contest page for more

Our Free Design has been updated this week with the Apple Basket.

New this week is the FSL Battenberg Snowflake Bookmark Set, which
contains patterns for 2 charming embroidery bookmarks. They make
excellent keepsakes and can also be used as more than just bookmarks.
We used the patterns to make a gorgeous doily out of the bookmarks.

By request of our customers, we have added the Sphynx Cat to our online
catalog.

Can someone please direct me to the original e-mail about the surprise – I can't seem to find it. Is it in the group files or somewhere else. I see all the e-mails thanking them for the surprise...................but................. for some reason I don't see the original e-mail telling where to get them. withingn the week..
it will be replaced with the next 3 monograms..

Ok yes there is a train from Denali National Park to Anchorage. Most love
that trip. DH and I went on a day trip to Whitter today. I was thinking
about you. The highway is a National Scenic HWY. It is just breathtaking I
have some photo I am going to send to you.

Geri somethng like a train from Denali...? I am not sure...this is what my
friend Sherry found out for me.. have not even had the time to look into
this..I have someone doing it for me and if I am "lost" it will soon come
out...ggg
I am working to get the owl finished with thelimited time i have had
lately..
But all things back to normal at the office at least tomorrow...

[HatchedDesignForum] Re: Alaska Cruise

We took a mid July land/cruise trip. Weather was great. We flew into Fairbanks.
(SW Florida to Minneapolis, & then direct flight from Minneapolis to Fairbanks.)

I found that late June and early July were perfect, weather-wise and in every other way. We took the Princess Cruise Line out of Vancouver. They took one route North and coming back, South, they went another route and came through Glacier Bay, which you really don't want to miss. Princess was wonderful. They had a British Crew and an Italian Dining Staff, that really knew how to make you feel special. Not only was the food unbelievable and the service fantastic, but when we left the ship for a week to go further North to Anchorage, Nome, Kotzebue, etc., they kept our luggage on board for us and it was in our stateroom waiting for us when we re-boarded in Skagway. Wonderful trip. Round trip from Vancouver lets you take the entire cruise route in. Absolutely fantastic. But remember to bring enough money for all of the little side trips. That is the way to see Alaska. You won't be sorry.
