As you all know I have been a little preoccupied with my little Fur Baby Pache and we finally made the decision last night to let him go, but this morning he is doing better and breathing better so I guess we will just go day by day. They have determined he has a large mass in his tummy and no matter what he would not probably survive surgery. The mass is pushing up on his lungs and causing the difficult breathing. Water pills are helping. But if he has a good day we have to let him enjoy it. We had a very good day Friday, but today is not so good, but sleeping peacefully. Saturday like I said did not look good and I was all set to make the call but for some odd reason I told hubby 'lets just wait and see if he will lay down and sleep a bit', which he did and slept most all day. He woke feeling a lot better. Still some breathing problems but better. I held him most of that night and decided not to give him any more pills other than the pee pills and the next morning he was way better. Sunday and today it is like he is some sort of miracle pup. Today especially. He is so good and bright eyed. It is kind of like waiting for the other shoe to drop, but we are going day by day and enjoying the extra time. I really do think the water pills are doing the trick. They said the large mass in his tummy could be fluid but we would have to find a specialist to know for sure and there aren't many of those around here and I just could not put him through any surgeries. Our little boy is all wiggly and bright eyed for now and I am so happy for that.Thankyou again for all the letters, they help a lot.
