Tip:
A basic sewing kit for people who sew by hand should have at the minimum
these following things. A selection of buttons, needles and threads. A good
pair of sewing scissors. Pins and pin cushion. A thimble. A tape measure. A
few fasteners such as snaps, hook and eyes. Self-fastening tape and an
assortment of patches. Put all this in a cute gift basket for someone who
likes to sew or is just starting out, it will be much appreciated.
