I'm so glad to hear that G Street is still in business. We used to go there by the Metro whenever we visited Washington DC. The store had (I think) 3 floors of fabrics - all sorts from all over the world! I could spend a couple of days just roaming around the place.
They sent out a newsletter for a few years but that seemed to fade away and I haven't heard anything about them lately. I was so afraid that they had gone out of business as so many good fabric stores have.
