You can't open it as a web page as long as it has the .doc or .docx file extension.  You can hyperlink to it from a web page but that still opens it as Word.

Hello All,
Can anyone tell me how to open Word as a webpage? I am practicing HTML and while I have opened Word to view as a webpage a week ago, now I can't! With Explorer I am going to FILE, OPEN, BROWSE, and then my folder, it is just opening as a Word document. Can you help?
