Re: [HatchedDesignForum] Sue Halter - Christmas Card Holder

Hi Cindy. Thanks so much! It is based on the (currently free) Ornaments Placemat pattern. I enlongated it and made card holders out of folded-into-triangles squares of fabric. I also embroidered the topiary trees (Christmas Topiary & Trees collection from Hatched) on a wide ribbon and placed down the center. The pockets were embellished with ribbon and a stiff interfacing was applied inside the pockets and also on the inside front of the hanger. I don't plan to wash this, so I used a buckram interfacing. A coated wire coat hanger was inserted before closing the seam of the front/back, then shaped to fit the top seams.

Hope this helps!
