I use polyester embroidery thread. I have used a burning tool such as a wood burning tool, to burn away netting or organza, however I trimmed these designs with scissors. Using polyester embroidery thread, you must be very careful not to touch the embroidery thread with the hot tip as it will melt the thread and/or become hard.
