[HatchedDesignForum] Tis The Season Entry

 

I have just uploaded my 'Tis The Season entry. I too, made a Thanksgiving theme since I do not have Christmas at my house and already have more Christmas decorations than I need.
I made a buffet table runner with the HIA Colorwork Thanksgiving designs. I used Thanksg01/03/06 for the buffet runner and used both cotton batting and Insulbrite inside and used a dark backing. I plan to display it until I serve, then flip it over and use the runner as an extra big hot pad for all the serving dishes. For my other piece, I used another Colorwork set design, #04, and made a muffin jar cover. It really came out much more lovely than I ever imagined. I am in love with the center square and may put him on a T-shirt. These sewed out beautifully, as always.

Thanks for such a fun contest. It always is a challenge to my creativity...not a far reach. LOL
