[HatchedDesignForum] Re: Patchwork Stockings again

 

Thank you for the kind words! I relied heavily on the instructions for making a crazy Patch stocking from http://www.craftown.com/Crazy-Patch-Christmas-Stocking.html. The designs were all, from HIA Lil Christmas. They work well because they are so small. All of the gold designs were just decorative stitches from my sewing machine, using gold metallic thread. On some of the designs I also used colored metallic thread. In retrospect, I wish I had made them a little larger so that there was a bit more toe room. I did use red flannel for the back and quilted it, and of course, there is a lining.
