HI Embroidery friends,
I want to remind you that I am hosting an embroidery event featuring Santi from Hatched in Africa (www.hatchedinafrica.com). You are on this list because you love and appreciate the fabulous designs! from Santi and her family! Well, she will be in Fredericksburg for 4 days next week, August 10-13 for hands-on workshops. Ok, on the first day, I'm doing the workshop with a sampler of designs from the Hatched team. I have space available on all of the days if you are interested!
In the photo section are photos of the four days – the 5 panel sampler is Wednesday's project, Thursday is stitching the Bird of Paradise designs on the garment of your choice—shirt, jacket, jeans, slacks, Friday is a black denim purse with appliqué poppies and zipper art (not shown on photo but it's a caterpillar or some other tiny insect done in a zipper) and Saturday is lace work done on a doily, a coaster (you get two choices of coasters) and a napkin.
You will receive over 20 expertly digitized designs as part of your class fees and most supplies are included to complete the projects. Morning coffee and pastry, boxed lunch, and afternoon snacks are included in your daily registration cost.
Also in the file section is a registration form and you can attend for one, two… as many days as your schedule allows or just come for the Friday evening show and tell and sensational Hatched trunk show. There will be lots of new things to see in the trunk show and lots of fun to stitch with friends during the Hands-on days. All events are held at the Tabernacle United Methodist Church fellowship hall in Fredericksburg Virginia which is very well lighted, everyone has their own table, lots of room to move, sew, and socialize. Rooms at the local Hampton Inn are $99. The Hampton Inn is visible on I-95 so easy access from the highway and the Church is less than 10 minutes from the Hampton Inn.
