[HatchedDesignForum] Summer 2011 Challenge Entry

 

Photos have been posted of the 9 1/2 x 9 inch glitzy bag that I made up as I went along. It is embelished with red, green, black and clear crystals.

I used jhum03 from Santi's Hummingbird Florals and jslillies02 from Just Lilies by Santi for the front. I split the design and stitched shades of black on white and white on black using rayon and some metallic threads. Japbutter04 from Butterfly Jewels by Liese and jslillies09 are stitched on the back of my bag.

Clear round decorative buttons are the openers for the Snap Top Closure (a real challenge), which is made using a metal carpenter's measuring tape. The inside lining has a handy zipper pocket.
