[HatchedDesignForum] Contest entry-Summer 2011

 

I just posted my entry. Did someone mention that we could go a little wild and crazy? I searched my stash and found some bold and colorful fabric for my tote. I choose the wackey birds design and made them sparkle with jewels to make them "wild and wackey". I did not use a pattern for the tote but, the construction is the "paper bag method" and I added pockets inside and out. I used 808 Craft Fuse to make the bag stiffer (and I don't know if I would use that again- I really struggled to turn the bag inside and outside to sew).

Thanks for the challenge. It was fun and I have a new fun tote.
