[HatchedDesignForum] Cinnamon Serenade Quilt

 

I'd like to thank everyone for their compliments and answer a couple questions.

To Gayle, yes that is border fabric. It's what started this whole adventure. It caught my eye while browsing the quilt shop and I couldn't take my eyes of it. It kept calling my name. A Moda fabric named, At Waters' Edge by Blackbird Design. Actually, I bought the fabric at my favorite quilt shop in Shipshewana. It was in their clearance room. They have a rather large room downstairs where you will find LOTS of beautiful fabric for $5.95 a yard.

To Marque. My batting of choice is Hobbs Silk. It is light weight, warm and does give your quilts a little loft. The lady who does my quilting also say's it's wonderful to work with.
