I eventually got round to sewing out the cardinal! I was reminded daily for a week by a beautiful red cardinal who sang all afternoon, on the deck outside the kitchen. I personalized the bag by doing a monogram from the Vintage Heirloom Monogram 2 set and surrounded this with swirls from the Elegant Scrolls set. I have used this set so many times, they sew out beautifully like all Santi's designs.
I made the bag at my quilt class and will make many more for presents as it is a roomy bag and easy to make.
