Hi Betty,
I have the Grand Dream hoop and the Pfaff CV. If you have the software (either
4D or 5D Embroidery Extra), you will need to combine the Phoenix elements first
in the software, then send the combined design to your CV to use the Grand Dream
hoop.
Santi has put the registration marks in the elements and they line up perfectly
so you would not need to use the Grand Dream hoop. In my opinion, you would be
making it harder to stitch by trying use it. I stitched the Fantasy Phoenix on a
blouse, using the 5x7 hoop and Santi's registration marks. It came out perfectly
and looks beautiful, even 3 years later. You'd never know multi-hooping was
necessary.
I think you'll be happy purchasing the Fantasy Phoenix - you "could" use the
Grand Dream hoop, but after you have the designs you'll wonder why you wanted to
try it. To answer your question, "yes" it will fit in the hoop, and the software
will split it automatically for you. Then you'll need to use Precise Positioning
to line up the split...Santi's done all of that for you already with her
registration marks.

I am deciding on purchasing some designs before the 30% off expires. I am
wondering if the Fantasy Phoenix can be stitched using the Grand Dream hoop? I
