If you get a new computer you can purchase an external Floppy Drive so you can still use your floppies. I have a Brother machine that uses either floppies or an embroidery card. I usually use the floppies because I use my Artista Software. Last year I purchased a Mac computer so had to get an external floppy drive and just love it works without a problem.
