[HatchedDesignForum] Re: mylar in embroidery

 

Pat, I heard that it can be washed 20-30 times.
You can also watch this technique on YouTube. I think that is where I got this information.

Hi Joyce,
Click "visit your group" at the end of the email, in a blue box.
This is a link to the Hatched in Africa group home page.
Click photos on the left-hand side of the page.
This will cause the photo albums to display in the center pane.
Scroll to the 3rd page and look for Cutwork Designs.
Open this Album and click Last at the bottom of the page.
My first communion dress pictures are the last three in that album.

[HatchedDesignForum] suggestion re: pictures

 

I have noticed that on occasion we have members who will upload a picture, but then never post a message letting anyone know they did. I try to remember to ck out the new photos, but I don't always remember to do that so I would sure like to suggest that if anyone posts a pic they also let the group know they did. That way you can get the compliments that are so richly deserved.

The new pic of the Frolicking Ducks is adorable. Kudos to the person who uploaded the pic yesterday.

[HatchedDesignForum] First Communion Dress

 

I have looked through the pictures and can't find the pictures of your dress! I made a communion dress for my grand daughter this year too. She had picked it out a Sew Beautiful magazine when she was three years old and kept it in her sewing basket. I lurk and don't post much because of how slow my internet is.

Janome does have a Brush-Out Embroidery Kit "includes an embroidery foot,
yarn guide, exclusive needle clamp screw, spool net and nap raiser. Turn
