Hi, I just uploaded a few pics of my Plain & Fancy Totes. I used an "Under the Sea" theme since I decided to make beach totes. I used several fish and seaweed designs from the following sets of designs:
Cuddlesome Reef Critters
Ethnique Fish
Fantasy Fish
Se Party
The large "Fancy" tote is quilted with two different large outside pockets and one large zipper pocket on the inside. For the two outside pockets, I created an ocean waves background from several blue prints and added lots of fish and seaweed. I embellished my fish with Mylar, Angelina, crystals and nail heads. For the inside pocket, I used two fish with Mylar and a seaweed plant. I also added a couple of key fobs to the inside of the tote.
The smaller "Plain" tote is a simple unlined tote. I wanted it to match the larger tote, so I used the same fabrics and colors. I used only the sea horse design and framed it. Both sides of the tote are the same.
My plan is keep the smaller tote inside of the larger one cause you never know when you will need an extra tote at the beach.
