I created a new photo folder to show you the project sampler that I made prior to the event. It was so show the attendees one way of using the various technique projects that were created during the show. Please look for the folder "2013 Temple Event Projects Sampler" on our Yahoo group site http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HatchedDesignForum/. It was to hang in my sewing room, but Santi had other plans for it and it went with her! hahaha!! I'll make myself another one as I really liked this little quilt.
The event was great. So good to see so many familiar faces, and put faces to names of those I hadn't met before. It was a busy time, a fun time, a sometimes bit frustrating time, but that's the case with most all events. We had about 95 people and Bernina supplied us with 25 brand new out of the box Bernina 780 machines. We had 4 to a machine, each taking turns at the wheel.
Time with Santi and Peter was so wonderful, but so short. I got to meet my friend Venitta from VA finally and get the hugs needed for unseen before friends.
To those of you who were able to come to the event, thank you and I hope you had a good time. To those of you who could not attend...I hope you get to go to one of Santi's trunk shows or events somewhere someday. They are such fun!
