FSL tip: If you don't want to change your bobbin color for free standing lace you can get a nice look by tightening the bobbin thread so only about 1/4 shows on the back. That is usually enough to make the back look presentable and keep you from changing colors all the time. you can also do minor touch ups with markers after your project is done if needed.
