Hello Santi,
The desert bloom season is fairly short and is dependent on the previous
Fall/Winter rainfall amounts. Blooming usually peaks in late March, but
can extend into April. As April warms, everything withers and dries up.
The entire state had below average precipitation last year so prospects
aren't great right now. The last "banner year" for Arizona desert bloom
was 2001.
Sorry to bear disappointing news, but it is what is is...
