Pat, I loved reading about your experience. I must not be too far from you. I live about fifteen miles from Haywood Mall.
We had an amazing Christmas. We have been trying for 12 years to blend two families together and it has been a struggle. This year shows us light at the end of the tunnel.
My grandchildren in Ohio called and I heard the squeals and delight as they opened their pkgs. Enjoyed the excitement, texts and pictures via cell phone then my stepsons, their wives and children joined the fray, we then ventured out to our daughter in laws parents home. They are Russian, so we all got to experience the new foods and just enjoy learning about each other's customs, etc.
It has been a wonderful day all in all. Christmas for us this year was an amazing bonding of family and friends and a great time of sharing.
Thank you for sharing your joy with us and I hope your new friend finds the rest of the holiday more peaceful as well.
