Several years ago I used it on some t-shirts for a group at church. It was
just ok.
Perhaps they have improved it, but at the time, it only went from white to
very pastel colors. Nothing
dramatic.

Maybe the colors are richer now...

Yes, it works just like regular embroidery thread. I'd be interested in how
many use and like this kind of thread? I have an opportunity to carry some,
but not sure if it's very popular. I've heard it's very popular in the
orient for handbags - I guess the colors change between night and day.

I am new to embroidery- my machine still has that new machine smell!

I just saw an ad for solar activated thread. Can anyone give me any hints on
using it? Does it work the same as other embroidery thread? Do you have
favorite designs to use it with?
