[Finding_Designs] Need help writing embroidery designs to embroidery machine

 

I am not very computer literate and I need some suggestions. I have been able to send my designs from my computer to my sewing machine for years but my son installed a wireless thing so I cold use an ebook and now it want work. My sister says it no longer recognisizes my com port that I was using and that I would have to find a way to change to a usb port instead of a serial port (i think) but I don't know what to do. Can anyone give me some suggetions on what to do.
