[web-design] Re: Increase traffic - List owner

 

This  list  is  obviously  moderated.  Beside  traffic  I  could use  an an evaluation  of   my  website.  I   did  all  the  work  with  CuteFTP.  No  other  software  was  involved.  -  Gerald Gollinger

I  had  this  website      http://www.mymanhattanlocale.com/  up  for  several  years  and  the  link  for  partners http://www.mymanhattanlocale.com/links.html  up  for  a  shorter  period.  The  counter  at  the   bottom  left  side  of  the  home  page  is  set  for  unique  hits.  My  Manhattan  Locale  has  a  google  page  rank  of  2.  I  am  an  affiliate of  google  and  Amazon.   Nevertheless,  unique  hits  is  about  100  monthly.

I  like  to  increase  traffic.  Spam  is  an  ugly  word,  and  I  do  not  do  this.  Google  ad  words  is  a  possibility  but  a  further  cash  drain.     This  is  a  possible  investment  but  what  words  would  be  worthwhile?

Any  ideas?
