Joann he is home - writing checks to pay bills between naps. He has 2
stents in the same artery. Apparently the pain he was feeling in the lower
quadrant of his heart was really angina and had been for a year. 2 other
doctors said it was something else and did not send him to Cardiologist. It
took his oldest brother having a stent put in and middle brother dying of
complications of a 5 by-pass for him to go to my Cardiologist and insist on
a complete work up. They found blockage last Wednesday and that evening the
Cardiologist called and told him he wanted him in his office on Thursday.
When we got there he was told surgery would be Friday about noon. This
doctor lets no moss grow under his feet! He came in, explained everything
before and after surgery to all of us.
