[HatchedDesignForum] Tote Bag for Contest

 

I just posted photos of my tote bag. It is made out of pet screen for the whole bag, but then has 2 different fabrics that coordinate. The flip flop fabric around the tote are all pockets and the webbing straps separate them. I used HIA Swirly Fish for my designs and used Angelina for the applique fabric. I also put on some svorski crystals for the "bubbles" by the one fish and on some of the flip flops on both sides for the "fancy" part of my tote. I have a hard foam core covered fabric base in it and I also covered the side seams since the pet screening is rather pokey and sharp. This will be for my oldest granddaughter to take to swim lessons.
