[web-design] "View Shopping Cart" button

Re:

We have the PayPal buttons set up to allow for ordering, just in time as the current heat wave in the Midwest has caused a very quick ripening of hops (and other produce!). My friend is now requesting that I add a PayPal "View Cart" button to the main navigation bar.

I can't imagine that being a good design practice, so I wonder if anyone has any ideas for simply adding a "view cart" link to the nav bar, in addition perhaps to a "view cart" button on each product page. I don't know if it's possible to set up a link to the shopping cart independent of the HTML PayPal provides to provide both the button and the link to the client's sales area on PayPal.

I thought another idea might be to float the PayPal button under the main nav bar...though I'm not in love with that idea as it interferes with the banner and the flow of the design.

I appreciate any thoughts!

Also...the HTML my friend provided **just** for the "view cart" button directs to a generic PayPal business cart that reads "My Business" rather than my friend's business site.

Thanks, as always!
